Wispy & Spike Styling Masterclass

Before enrolling

You must hold both a Classic and Volume Eyelash Extension qualification before enrolling on any masterclass with Kenzi. Proof  of certification is required.

What is the structure of this lash course?

There are three ways to experience the Wisp & Spike Masterclass - all taught 1-1 by Kenzi, with you as the only student. Each option is deigned to suit different learning tyles, confidence levels and career goals.

OPTION 1 - HALF DAY, 4 HOURS, 9AM - 1PM

A focused, theory-led introduction to wisp and spike styling. You'll explore how these sets are designed, layered and mapped, with light hands-on practice using a mannequin head and sponge. This option is perfect for artists who want to understand the artistry and structure behind wisps before moving on to live models.

No live model. No lunch break.

OPTION 2 - FULL DAY, 8 HOURS, 9AM - 5PM

A full immersion into the world of wisps and spikes. The morning is spent building confidence through theory and multiple practice sessions on sponges and mannequin heads, preparing you for your live model in the afternoon.

After a short lunch break (lunch provided), you will create a full wispy or spike set on a live model while Kenzi guides and supports you throughout. Your live model set will be tailored just for you, focusing on the areas you need the most support with, so you're guided every step of the way.

OPTION 3 - 2 FULL DAYS, 16 HOURS, 9AM - 5PM X2

The ultimate deep-dive for artists who want to truly master wispy and spike styling. Day one blends theory, practical training and a full live model set, following the same structure as Option 2. Day two is dedicated to entirely hands-on artistry, with yo'

u completing three more full sets on live models, allowing you to refine, experiment and perfect the different techniques. Lunch is provided on both days.

What will I learn? 

This masterclass is not a signature set masterclass, it is not about copying one single look. Instead, Kenzi will give you all the tools to allow you to understand how to design endless variations of wisps and spikes that suit every face.

You will learn:

- The true difference between a wisp and a spike.

- Seven different methods for creating wisps and spikes.

- Wet look vs Angel sets.

- Strip lash vs Wispy styling.

- Layering and how to manipulate layers.

- Application techniques for wispy and spiked sets.

- How to choose the perfect curls, lengths and base.

- Using Classic, Hybrid and Volume within wispy designs.

- Different fan types and when to use them.

- How to use wisps and spikes as a design tool.

- Troubleshooting and how to fix common issues.

Are there any requirements? 

You must be 16+ years old and hold both a Classic Eyelash Extensions certificate and a Volume Eyelash Extensions certificate.

What do I need to bring? 

OPTION 1 - HALF DAY

You don't need to bring anything. Tweezers are included in your kit, but you're welcome to bring your own if preferred.

OPTION 2 - FULL DAY

You will need to arrange one live model to arrive at 1.30pm. If you're struggling, let us know and we will do our best to help. Tweezers are included, but you may bring your own.

OPTION 3 - 2 FULL DAYS

Day 1:  One live model at 1.30pm. 

Day 2: Three live models at 9:15am, 11:45am, and 2:45pm. If you need help finding model, just let us know. Tweezers are included in your kit, however, please feel free to bring your own.

Is a kit included? 

Yes - every option includes a luxury masterclass kit worth over £180, containing:

- 20 pairs lint-free under eye pads

- 1 roll non-woven tape

- 50 lash brushes

- Metal glue opener

- Isolation tweezer & 90 degree tweezer

- By Kenzi Banana Bonder adhesive

- Lash mirror

- Jade stone

- Mannequin head

- Lash tile

- 5 practice strip lashes

- Mapping pen, biro pen and a marker pen

Will I have any support after the course? 

Yes - you'll never be left on your own.

You'll be added to:

- A WhatsApp community of beginner and advanced artists

- An Instagram support group

- A By Kenzi student only group

You'll also have direct access to Kenzi for ongoing support, questions and guidance as you grow.

What are the payment options?

To secure your place, a £100 non-refundable booking fee is taken when you book. The remaining balance is simply paid on the day of your training, either by cash or card. 

For a little extra flexibility, Klarna option are also available on the remaining balance, which will be made available to you after we have received the booking fee.
