Volume lash extensions are an advanced lashing technique where multiple ultra-fine lashes are handcrafted into a fan and applied to a single natural lash. This allows for a fuller, fluffier, and more textured look while remaining lightweight and safe for the natural lashes.
Volume sets can be customised to suit each client, making them ideal for clients who want more density, depth, or a glamorous finish compared to classic lashes.
A Classic eyelash extension qualification is required prior to enrolling. You are welcome to join this course with a Classic qualification gained from another training provider (proof of certificate is required). However, students who complete both their Classic and Volume training with By Kenzi will receive an exclusive discount on the Volume course.
What is the structure of this lash course?
This is a 1 day 8 hour course, followed by a 4 week case study period. Firstly, Kenzi will recap all things theory that you should already know as a classic artist. She will then move on to the theory for volume extensions, once she feels confident that you have full understanding of classic application. You will then have time to practice making fans and applying them to a sponge, followed by a mannequin head. You will then go to a lunch break (food and drinks provided; please make us aware of any allergies, intolerances, and preferences). After this, your live model will arrive and you will complete a full set and practical assessment. Your live model will then leave and Kenzi will give you feedback. After you have then left, you will be required to provide us with 4 detailed case studies within 4 weeks, for Kenzi to review. Once you have successfully passed your 4 case studies, you will then receive your certificate. Before this point, you will not have an accredited certificate and therefore will not be able to be insured.

Are there any requirements?
You must be 16+ years old to enrol on this course. You must have an accredited classic eyelash extensions certificate. You do not need to have been trained in classics by us, but if you have received your classic qualification with us, remember to use your discount code!
What do I need to bring?
You will need to arrange a live model to arrive at 2pm. Please make us aware if you are struggling to arrange this. Also, please bring your mannequin head from your previous course with us! If you have your classic qualification, but not with us, please make us aware so we can adapt your kit to ensure you have all the essentials.
Is this course accredited?
Yes! All of our beginners courses are fully accredited and insurable. Please note, you will not be qualified until you have completed and passed the follow up case studies.
Is a kit included?
Yes! Kits are included. Our volume kit has less than the classics, as certain products (e.g. glue shaker) you will only need one of. The volume kit is worth over £150 RPR and is made up of:

If you have your classic qualification with another training provider, your kit will be adapted to include any essentials that you may be missing.
Will I have any support after the course?
Yes, ongoing support is a key part of training with By Kenzi. After completing your course, you will have access to direct follow-up support with Kenzi via a dedicated contact number, as well as being added to exclusive support groups for By Kenzi students only. All students are also welcome to shadow Kenzi after their training, for as long or as little as they wish. This gives you the opportunity to observe real client appointments, see professional techniques applied in real time, and gain a deeper understanding of time management, client communication, and day-to-day workflow within a working lash business. This continued support is designed to build confidence, refine your skills, and help bridge the gap between training and working independently.
Why do you not offer fast-track courses?
Rome wasn't built in a day! Kenzi does not believe in offering fast-track courses as she focuses on the quality of your work as opposed to rushing a qualification and sending you on your way. However, if you trained in classics with Kenzi, as soon as you pass your case studies, you can enrol on our volume course using your discount code!
What are the payment options?
To secure your place, a £100 non-refundable booking fee is taken when you book. The remaining balance is simply paid on the day of your training, either by cash or card.
For a little extra flexibility, Klarna option are also available on the remaining balance, which will be made available to you after we have received the booking fee.
